Band Split Planner RF Utility

Rough-cut planning for Shure Axient/ULX-D/UHF-R, PSM1000, and Wisycom IEM bands against local DTV occupancy. Built for PMs to sanity-check “wish lists”.

Demo data only – wire to real DTV sources before trusting.

Frequency Selection

Step 1 · Frequency selection & inventory
This version uses a tiny baked-in DTV dataset for illustration. Replace getDtvChannelsForZip() with your FCC / RabbitEars / internal tool for real use.
These toggles widen the “no-fly zone” around each TV carrier to approximate how conservative you want to be. This is not a full intermod calculator (yet).

Add inventory blocks

Build up the full “wish list” here (e.g. 8 AD G57, 16 ULX-D G50, 8 EW-D R1, 8 PSM G10, 4 MTK982). Then run the stupid check on the whole plan.
No blocks added yet. Use Add to plan above.
Rule of thumb used here: assumes an equidistant grid at ~600 kHz spacing for digital systems. Real-world channel counts will depend on your actual coordination, antenna system, and headroom.

DTV & Plan Results

Step 2 · Reality check
Enter a ZIP and tap Lookup DTV to populate demo data.
RabbitEars Signal Search Map Shure Wireless Frequency Finder
The planner here is meant as a quick-and-dirty PM tool. Final coordination still belongs in Wireless Workbench, WSM, etc.
v0.3 · Added PSM1000 & Wisycom bands. Logic intentionally conservative & simplified.
